[B]Hai,

IAS-Indian Adminstrative Service exam was conducting one time in a year by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).

Age criteria:-

For General category candidates:-21 years to 30 years,

For OBC category candidates:- 21 years to 33years(i.e 3 years upper age limit),

For SC/ST category candidates:- 21 years to 35 years(i.e 5 years upper age relaxation).

Eligibility criteria:-

Graduation or equivalent degree in any stream from a recognised university.

The candidate should be a citizen of india.

Final year candidates are also eligible and percentage is no need to apply this exam.

There are stages in selection process, selection process and syllabus are given below.

Selection process:-

Civil services preliminary exam,

Civil services main exam,

Personal interview.

IAS Educational Qualification :
pass in a Graduation in any stream from a recognized university
Age limit :
candidates must have complete 21 years & not more then 30 years for general candidates
3 years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates & 5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates
In Jammu & Kashmir : 35 years for General candidates & 38 years for SC/ST candidates

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services and is conducted by UPSC every year. You should have a degree to write IAS exams, if you don’t have a degree then you are not eligible.

There are three stages in IAS exams.

## Civil Service Aptitude Test(CSAT)
## Main Exams
## Interview

Optional subjects:

Any two subjects (each having 2 papers) to be selected from the 25 optional subjects Given Below(300 marks for each paper)

Age limits:

You must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination. The upper age limit is relaxed in specific cases as mentioned below:

upto a maximum of 5 years if the candidate belongs to SC/ST.
upto a maximum of 3 years if the candidate belongs to Other Backward Classes(BC's)

Number of attempts:

## General candidates: four attempts.
## Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates: No restriction.
## Other Backward Classes: seven attempts.

Exam pattern:

For Jammu and Kashmir people the upper age limits for IAS are:

## Upto 35 years(for general)
## If you belong to SC/ST then upto 38 years.
