Re: Information about jobs and salary of B.Tech Biotechnology? Biotechnology is not developed upto the mark in India. The candidates who have completed Graduation and Post Graduation in Biotechnology field are still struggling to get the job opportunities. In Abroad, Biotechnology is well developed and the candidates can easily get the jobs. Soon after the completion of B.Tech in Biotechnology, many of the job opportunities are with related to lab environment in Hospitals Pharmaceutical Companies Drug Designing Companies Chemical Laboratories Biotech Companies Food Processing Companies Bio Processing Companies etc. You may have to work with any of the following departments Production Department QA department QC department etc. As per the salaries, In many of the organizations, the salary offered for the candidates will be 15K-30K. I suggest you to do job in India for couple of years and then go for abroad for better job opportunities. You can also make entry into Teaching field if you are interested. Wish you all the best. |
