Re: Scope of Post Graduation course in Event Management Hi dear, this course need a bachelor degree qualification in any stream which is satisfied by your son , so he is eligible for it .. ~One can work as an event manager in : ~companies like Wizcraft, ~television channels like Zee TV, ~coordinate fashion shows for companies like Lakme and ~organize award ceremonies for magazines like Filmfare. ~One can also work as a public relation executive in various media and advertisement houses and tourism sector. also it has very good scope in abroad too .... for more details about the course , you can visit http://www.indiaedu.com some of the best institutes for it are available in delhi and bombay such as Indian Institute of Event Management, Mumbai, Indian Institute of Management, New Delhi . You have to put a lot of labour as this profession holders are said to be glorified labour. But its interesting. And if you still want to persue your career in Events then Go for EMDI(event management development Institute) Mumbai. This Institute has changed its name to EMDI institute for Media and communication i guess. They have all the Industry People for better training of the students. Go for EMDI, Mumbai if you want your career to fly high. |

After completing this course from good college then you can organise some events like parties, entertainment, awarness programme and education programme. And you will get jobs in television channels, Zee Tv, and manny more and you will get good salary package. This course has very good demand in now a days. The work of Event Manager starts from choosing the site and ends in completion of the programme/event High Analaytical skill/visualization/and perception are the essential qualities of an Event designer. Jobs as Event manager/Event designer/Event Assistant/Event co-ordinar/Event Director offers scope for you in this field. Your son will join this course but from reputed college. Your son can work as a public relation executive in various media and advertisement houses and tourism sector.
