Union Public Service Commission conducts various examination for different departments and candidates holding specific qualification are eligible to write a particular examination conducted by the commission.

For +2 qualified candidates in Science stream:

NDA & NA Examination
Age Limit: 16.5-19 years

Special Railway Class Apprentices Examination (SCRA)
Age Limit: 17-21 years ( maximum age limit is relaxed for reserved category)

For Candidates holding Bachelor Degree in any discipline:

Civil Service Examination
Age Limit: 21-30 years ( maximum age limit is relaxed for reserved category)

Central Police Force Examination
Age Limit: 20-25 years ( maximum age limit is relaxed for reserved category)

Combined Defense Service Examination(Indian Army and Indian Air Force)
Age Limit: 19-24 years for Indian Army and 19-23 years for Indian Air Force.

For Engineering Graduates:

Engineering Service Examination
Age Limit: 21-30 years ( maximum age limit is relaxed for reserved category)

Combined Defense Service Examination (Indian Navy)
Age Limit:19-22 years

For Candidates holding Post-Graduate Degree:

Indian Economic Service Examination
Age Limit: 21-30 years ( maximum age limit is relaxed for reserved category)

Indian Statistics Service Examination
Age Limit: 21-30 years ( maximum age limit is relaxed for reserved category)
