Re: Can I apply for Railway Engineer Driver post after passing 12th with 50% in 12th Yes,you will be eligible to apply for RRB Exam for the post of Railway Engine Driver.For applying to this post you will required to meet these eligibility conditions :- ~Educational qualification :- -->>Candidates should be passed out in class 10th or class 12th with a minimum of 50% marks. -->>Candidates should have an ITI or Diploma degree in Mechanical/Electrical/ Electronics and Communication/Diesel Mechanic from a recognized institute. ~Age :- -->>Candidates minimum age should be 18 years. -->>Candidates age should not be above 30 years. Salary and other perk details for Railway Engine Driver : 1. Pay Scale - Rs 5200 to 20200. 2. Grade Pay - Rs 1900. 3. Initial Pay - Rs 5830. Facilities provided by the Central Government for Railway Drivers : Transport Allowance. Running Allowance. House Rent Allowance. DA on Total Pay. Physical Fitness required to become a Railway Engine Driver : Each eye must be perfect. Each ear must be clear from hearing. Blood Pressure must must be Normal. X-Ray for chest is clear. EGC for blood vessel should be normal. Ishihara test should be free from Color Blind. Blood and Urine test should be Sugar Nil. Syllabus of Written exam for Railway Driver exam : 1. Verbal and Non verbal Reasoning - 25 questions. 2. Arithmetic ability - 25 questions. 3. General Awareness - 25 questions. 4. Basics of English Grammar - 25 questions. Written examination will be of 100 marks and total duration for written exam will be 2 hours. |
