Re: Admission in top DU college after passing 12th with 81%? In order to take the admission in DU you should have the best four percentage more than 75% as a OBC category. So you can calculate your three academic subjects & English percentage. Candidates must secure 45 percent or more marks aggregate of 3 subjects and must pass in one compulsory language (i.e. English). Candidates must have an aggregate of at least 55 percent in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology (PCB/BT) subjects. |

Congratulations for scoring high marks in board exams but for your kind information I want to mention that these many marks are not sufficient to secure admission in top 10 colleges of DU Other way to work out is if you have any quota recognised by central government of india like sports quota ,armed force quota, sc st obc etc. |

Re: Admission in top DU college after passing 12th with 81%? Hi 81 % means you must have a higher score for the best 4 subject i suppose. So you have some good chances in DU. At least better chances. So now it depends on you, which courses you want to opt for. Anyhow, the top colleges according to the ranking in DU are: 1. St. Stephens 2. Hindu 3. Hansraj 4. Miranda House 5. LSR 6. Venkateshwara 7. Ramjas and the list continues... So you can opt for the course you want. But B.Com and B.A Eco honours courses are always in very high demand. You might not get in any of these. Rest you can go for other courses. For english honours, CATE is the exam you have to clear. Good luck ! |
