ALL subjects are important in gate exam because questions will cover all over the portion in the book

Which subject is most important for GATE exam in civil engineering?

sir,i am preparing for gate 2012 civil branch.out of all subjects,i m preferring geotechnology as the most important,then maths,structures and highway engineering.please tell me which subjects should be prepared thoroughly for getting maximum marks as there are about 11 to 12 subjects.
