The candidates must have 1.Graduation Degree from any recognized university/institute with at least 55% marks to apply for the CGL examination conducted by SSC. 2. The candidates should be between 20 to 25 years of age as well, to be able to apply for the CGL examination. |

Re: Qualifications required to join CBI? Dear, qualification for that is to be Graduate.. for that you need to have good physical strength also like any armed force.. Height 157.5 cms. Chest 81 cms. (fully expanded with a minimum expanses of 5 cms.) HAI......  after passing graduation in law you can go for the post of CBI as .. -Assistant Public Prosecutor - Senior Public Prosecutor As To become a CBI(Central Bureau of Investigation) you need to go through a Combined Graduate Level Examination of Staff Selection Commission conducted by Government of India. Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree from a recognised university or equivalent. Age Should be Between 20-25 years (relaxation of upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.) physical requirements you need to fulfill height minimum --165 cm and chest -- 76 cms vision -6/6 examination consist of 4 stages and you need to clear all. Selection Procedure : -Selection based on Written Test, - Personal Interview and -According to Rule and Regulation of the Govt of India. Plan of the Examination: Part I Written Examination carrying: 400 marks Part II Personality Test (Interview): 100 marks. Examination Subjects: (Paper No. Subject Questions Max. Marks Duration) Paper-I General Test General Intelligence and Reasoning 50 General Awareness 75 200 2 hours Numerical Ability 75 Paper-II English Language Language Comprehension Communication/Writing 200 2 hours Ability Test physical requirements you need to fulfill height minimum --165 cm and chest -- 76 cms vision -6/6 CBI post are: 1. The Central Bureau Investigation(CBI),the base of administrative branch of India, provides the information relating to corruption in Central Government departments and Central Public Sector Undertakings which is directly or indirectly devoted for the Investigation, Anti Corruption, Economic Offences, Special Crimes. Eligibility for appearing CBI exam :- 1) Age :- Your's age must lie between :- (a) 20 to 27 years for Assistant Grade & SIs in CBI (b) 18 to 27 years for inspectors of CE/IT & Div. Acctts/Auditors/UDCs, etc., (c) 20 to 25 years for SIs in CPOs on the first day of the August of the year of Examination. The upper age limit may be relaxed in respect of SC,ST,OBC. 2) Educational Qualification :- You should have a degree of a recognized University or equivalent. |

Degree in any discipline from a Recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. OR 2. A pass with 50% marks in HSC examination of 10+2 (10+2+3) pattern/11th Std. of (11+1+3) pattern or Intermediate / Pre-University or any equivalent examination / Diploma in Banking recognized by Central/State Government or U.T. administration. OR 3. A pass with 60% marks in the aggregate in Matriculation / SSC (old pattern) / SSLC/ 10th Std. examination of 10+2+3 pattern or equivalent. For SC/ST / EX-Servicemen / PWD, the educational qualification is relaxed as below: 1. A pass in HSC examination (10+2) of 10+2+3 pattern/11th Std. examination of 11+1+3 pattern / Pre-University or equivalent examination. OR 2. A pass with 50% marks in the aggregate in matriculation / SSC (old pattern) SSLC / 10th Std. in (10+2+3) pattern or equivalent examination. And if you abide by the above education qualifications you are eligible for becoming CBI. |

To join as a CBI oficer you have to apply 'Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam' (CGPE) which is conducted by staff selection commission (SSC) in every year. This exam is held only once in a year. Eligibility Criteria : Educational qualification :- You must be graduate degree in the course of Criminology. The final year graduation student are also eligible for this exam. Age Limit : 1) The age must be lies between 18 to 27 year for Inspector or CE and Div. Re: Qualifications required to join CBI? Hi, CBI recruitment is conducted by SSC. Eligibility to join CBI is candidate must have bachelors degree from a recognised university. CBI recruits Sub-inspectors through the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), which publishes its recruitment notice in Employment News and other leading dailies. CBI also inducts officers in the ranks of Inspector of Police and above from the State and Union Territory Police forces on deputation. Non-police officers are also taken on deputation in CBI. The age criteria is 20 years wheras, the maximum age limit is 27 years with relaxation of upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.
