You need to realize that are you good at this to the satisfaction of yours, do you wish to take up this subject at the higher studies, or some other career options are also there? There are number of examples where a science student has taken up admission at the India's top most Management institute, well this is the one who wanted to have a management career. In your case you can tell better, there are universities which are offering post graduation degrees in the Microbiology, Genetics, Botany, Bio Informatics etc. The options are there, only you need to get what you want, if you wish to pursue research, you want to enter the Civil Services, you want to teach the same, or wish to get a corporate job. You can work in many biotechnology firms, involve in Botanical surveys, Cosmetic companies, etc. You can join as florist, farming consultants, environment consultant in farm management organizations, floricultures, horticultures. You can also look for jobs in food and herbal industry, fermentation industries, food institutes, etc. You can even do postgraduation and look for better jobs after completing it. |
