POWER GRID EXAM PATTERN AND SYLLABUS




Power grid selection for Executive Trainee consists of 3 important rounds

-> Written Test

-> Group Discussion

-> Interview


WRITTEN TEST :

-> The power grid exam consits of 2 important sections..

-> PART 1 - Technical Knowledge Test (TKT) - 120 questions

-> PART 2 - Executive Aptitude Test (EPT) - 50 questions

-> Part 1 questions is fully from your electrical discipline, so prepare all the core subjects well to get good marks out of it.

-> Part 2 questions will be of aptitude, verbal and reasoning.

5. Electrical Measurement & Measuring Instruments
6. Digital Electronics
7. Microprocessor & Microcontroller
8. Advanced Electronics
9. Power & Protection
10. HVDC & LVDC

Written Test shall be of Objective Type of two hours duration consisting of two parts –
1. Part-I consists of Technical Knowledge Test (TKT) with 120 questions having specific questions in your discipline. e.g – If the candidate has applied for ET – Electrical then question shall be in electrical discipline.

2. Part-II consists of Executive Aptitude Test (EAT) with 50 questions on vocabulary, verbal comprehension, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, ability to determine data sufficiency interpretation of graphs/charts/tables, numerical ability etc.

3. All questions carry equal marks. Wrong and multiple answers would result in negative marks of 1/4.
