Am I eligible for applying Kerala PSC exams that require degree as qualification with my MBA?how about bank exams? |

I have done my graduation in sociology from Annamalai University For admission in Bachelor of Education course, it is necessary to have completed graduation course. Since you have completed graduation in Sociology, you are eligible to apply for the Bachelor of Education course. However only if you meet the percentage requirement. Bachelor of Education is a course related to teaching. In this course candidates are trained to teach various subjects to children in school. The subject would depend on your stream. For example a candidate who has graduated in Arts is trained to teach subjects such as history, civics, geography and languages. Similarly, candidate with Bachelor of Science degree is trained to teach school children subjects such as mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology. Bachelor of Education is 1 year long course. However the duration is extended to 2 years in the distance education. Today it is mandatory to have completed Bachelor of Education degree in order to apply for school teacher job. It does not matter whether you are applying in private school or government school, Bachelor of Education degree has become essential for teaching job. Therefore thousands of teaching aspirants apply for the B.Ed course. Eligibility 1. A bachelor degree in any stream from a recognized university. 2. At least 50 percent marks in graduation. 3. OBC candidates need 45 percent marks. 4. SC/ST can take admission with 40 percent marks. 5. The education pattern of the candidate should be 10+2+3. The admission for Bachelor of Education is given on the basis of entrance exam. All states have their different entrance exams for B.Ed admission. The exam syllabus is as following: General Awareness Test Teaching Potential Test General Mental Ability Test Language Proficiency Test Language Proficiency Test: English and/or Hindi |

The qualification required for the B.Ed course is a graduation in any discipline. You should score 55% marks in aggregate to apply for B.Ed course. Selection will be based on B.Ed entrance examination. It is not mandatory that you should apply for B.Ed course in the same University from where you have completed your graduation. You can apply for B.Ed course in any university provided you have completed your graduation from an institute which is recognized. |
