I will have to take AMIE(Civil) in upcoming June-2012.Is AMIE eligible for UPSC,SSC,State Government Exams...? |

Re: Is AMIE degree holder eligible for IES examination? You need not pass AMIE in full to write IES exam or GATE. Just AMIE(Sec A) is sufficient. But if you are selected, by that time you should have a pass in the full AMIE exams. Bothe Sec A and Sec B to get the job !! |

Re: Is AMIE degree holder eligible for IES examination? according to your rule, we are eligible to give maximum 4 subjects in every six month but suppose i passed to subject but disqualify in two subject then for this what would be the loss for me. pls suggest me thank you sir |

Re: Is AMIE degree holder eligible for IES examination? As you must be knowing that AMIE membership is equivalent to to BE/BTech and is recognized by the AICTE. So you are eligible to sit for the civil service examinations such as Engineering service. Furthermore, you can also sit for the GATE exam to apply for MTech course. |

Re: Is AMIE degree holder eligible for IES examination? Hi, Yes, definitely you are eligible to write IES exam after doing AMIE degree course. AMIE course is recognized as equivalent to an engineering degree approved by AICTE,UPSC, SSC, Central Government Departments and state governments etc. So, AMIE degree holder can write examinations like civil services, Indian engineering services, GATE, GRE, etc. That means you will be eligible to apply for any kind of Govt exams after you complete AMIE course.
