M Sc (Chemistry) : M Sc (Chemistry), a two-year postgraduate course, is a popular subject among the students of Science background. The course deals with the chemical aspects of the various elements of chemistry and its branches. A B Sc Chemistry graduate, with 60%, is eligible for admission in M Sc Chemistry course, which is largely done through entrance test. M Sc (Mathematics) : M Sc Mathematics can be opted only after completing graduation with Mathematics as the main subject. Re: Details about MSc courses in India? For joining the M.Sc course it is a must to have completed graduation preferably in the same stream. There are various streams in which a candidate can specialise. Some of them include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Statistics etc. There are also other streams like microbiologist, biochemistry, biotechnology etc. For admission to some of these institutes the candidate may need to appear for an entrance exam. The duration is 2 years. |
