You must do MBBS to become a doctor. PUC passed candidates in science(biology) stream can apply for MBBS degree. They should have studied physics, chemistry, and biology as subjects. A minimum of 50% marks in 12th is required to apply for NEET.KCET,AIIMS,EAMCET are other competitive exams you can choose for.

Eligiblity for Becoming Doctor in India:

Educational Requirement:

10+2 passed with Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50% marks from a recognized board of education.

Age Required:

For MBBS entrance ( NEET ) age should be above 17 years. For All Indian level quota seat there is upper age limit of 25 years. For state level seats there is no upper age limit.

Mode of Admission:

NEET is conducted on all Indian basis for admission into MBBS course. You have to get a top rank in this to get admission into your choice of college.

Exam Pattern:

The exam will have 180 questions and the duration will be of 3 hours.

Physics- 45 questions

Chemistry - 45 questions

Zoology - 45 questions

Botany - 45 questions

There will be negative mark for wrong answers.

Dear Friend,

I assume you have done your 12th with the subject Biology. This is required to become eligible to appear for any medical entrance examination.

You can write few of the many entrance examinations available.

In the year 2013, NEET was conducted for admission into all the medical colleges across the country but then Supreme Court has quashed this test.

So, we have to wait for any confirmation for the next year.

But, you should start your preparations immediately for entrance tests and you need to prepare well to qualify as there is huge competition to make the cut.

This is the right time to prepare, if you want to become a doctor.

After intermediate , if you want to do a medical course like MBBS / BDS, then you will have to qualify any entrance exam. Some exams are NEET, JIPMER, AIIMS, RPMT, UPPMT etc.

NEET - National Eligibility cum Entrance Test

Eligibility criteria for NEET exam ~~

Intermediate Physics, Chemistry and Biology from a recognized board.

Percentage required is 50% for general and 40% for OBC, SC / ST category.

Final year candidates can also apply.

Minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years.

Hello


After 12th you can choose the courses to become a doctor like
  • MBBS
  • BAMS
  • B.Pharm
  • BDS
  • Veternary sciences etc

To do these courses you must complete 12th with biology, physics and chemistry subjects
You must be in the age group of 17 - 25 years
You must get atleat 60% marks to get admission

The entrance exams you can write to get admission are
  • NEET
  • AIIMS
  • JIPMER
  • EAMCET
  • KCET etc

if you want to be a doctor than you should be pass you 12 th with pcb (physics,chemistry and bio logy) sub.
after that you can apply in aicpmt and cpmt and state pmt exam . after that if you can got a high marks in these exam you can go for these counseling and you can get admission
in your choice medical collage for doctor degree .

To become a doctor you must have completed 12th in medical stream and afterwards you can choose MBBS,B.Pharmacy,etc...,.You can get a admission into medical courses by qualifying in the medical entrance exams like NEET,Eamcet,etc....And you can do any one of the following medical courses :

-->BDS
-->BHMS
-->BAMS
-->BUMS
-->BVSc

You need to pursue MBBS degree to become a doctor. HSC passed candidates in science stream can apply for MBBS degree. They should have studied physics, chemistry, and biology as subjects. Admission to the course is done on the basis of NEET score. A minimum of 50% marks in 12th is required to apply for NEET.

I passed +2 just last year and want to be a doctor? I am not doing anything now. Suggestions please!
