Re: Which course should I opt after 12th? I am a 12th standard student It is good that you have completed your 12th class with both Mathematics and Biology subjects. This will be an added advantage for you. The reason being you can go to Medical field and non medical field also as you have knowledge on both the areas at 10+2 level. If you want to go for Medical field, the following courses will be good choice for you. MBBS BDS Physiotherapy Nursing B-Pharmacy etc. If you want to go for non medical field, then Engineering would be the best choice for you. Some of the popular streams in Engineering that you can join are Computer Science Engineering Electrical Engineering Electronics and Computer Science Engineering Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering Aeronautical Engineering etc. The admission for this course will be given on the basis of Entrance Exam. Some of the popular Entrance Exams are AIEEE IIT-JEE BITS-Pilani In addition, there are some state level Entrance Exams for the candidates to join Engineering course. There is no Entrance test required to join in Intermediate. Main Groups in Intermediate are 1) M.P.C --Maths, Physics, Chemistry 2)Bi.P.C-Biology , Physics, Chemistry 3)H.E.C-History,Economics,Commerce 4) C.E.C-Civics, Economics,Commerce If you choose M.P.C after 2 years through EAMCET you can join in Engineering which is 4 years of course , EEE,ECE,Civil,Mechanical, Computer Science,Information Technology etc are the courses After Bi.P.C Through EAMCET you can join in Medical courses like MBBS, BDS, B .Pharmacy,M.D etc are the courses Both courses having good scope in Future.Just check in which subject you are good,based on that you select All the Best |

Re: Which course should I opt after 12th? I am a 12th standard student You can try for courses in engineering or medical streams. Separate entrance exams are conducted for the purpose. Admission of candidates to B.E/B.Tech courses are done on the basis of entrance test like AIEEE or IIT JEE. You can seek admission to medical courses like BDS or MBBS by qualifying NEET. Questions based on PCB will be asked for medical entrance exams where as that of PCM is asked for engineering entrance exams. |
