Dear friend this is not possible because without GATE M.TECH IS not possible from any good colleges........... that's why you should give that exam and must be qualified then you can try for any colleges but without qualify this is not possible on donation................ you must give the exam then you can try with doanation that's why you should appear in GATE............. |

Hello friend, For the admission into M.Tech in any reputed colleges/university you must have to appear for the GATE examination and score good marks. So without GATE score card you can't get admission in BIT. You can apply for the GATE examination if you have B.TECH degree or equivalent. You can get application form online and offline. So collect your application form and apply as soon as possible. Good luck!!!!! |

BITS generally conducts its own examination for Admission in following M.E/M.Tech courses Master of Engineering (ME) - Design Engineering Master of Engineering (ME) - Electrical Master of Engineering (ME) - Mechanical Master of Engineering (ME) - Computer Science Master of Engineering (ME) - Communication Engineering Master of Engineering (ME) - Civil Master of Engineering (ME) - Chemical Master of Engineering (ME) - Biotechnology M.S. Software Systems M.S. Manufacturing Management M.S. Consultancy Managment (Next Admn Notification Expected in May 2004) M.S. Quality Management (Next Admn Notification Expected in May 2004) Master of Technology (MTech) - Remote Sensing Mode of Admission: Admission is based on the performance of the candidates in the computer based online test conducted by BITS followed by Interviews of short listed candidates. The test are planned to be conducted at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi (Noida), Hyderabad, Kolkatta, Nagpur, Pilani & Goa. subject to a certain minimum number of candidates opting for the center. The tests will have objective type questions (multiple choices) questions only and will be generally conducted in the last week of June every year. Based on the performance in the entrance test, candidates will be short listed and asked to come to Pilani / Goa for interviews at their own cost. The final selection is based on the performance in the tests and interviews. Applications for the entrance test can be had from Admissions Officer, BITS by payment of a DD for Rs. 1000.00. The last date for the submission of filled in application forms will be the end of May. Please refer to the lastest admission notification for further information. |

Re: Can we get an M.Tech course in BITS without answering GATE? GATE exam is only for IITs and IIsc, you can get admission in BITs without gates, but yes , they may take your GATE marks for consideration during admission procedure. |

Re: Can we get an M.Tech course in BITS without answering GATE? You need not appear for the GATE exam for admission in BITS. You need to appear for the entrance exam of BITS instead. This is compulsory. You will need to appear for the online exam. The exam is normally conducted in the month of December. You need to be be on the lookout for notifications regarding the same. |
