Dear All....Either you study Economics or M.com or other professional courses, you just only one thing to possess and know that is everything related to your study, directly or indirectly. E.g you go for M.A eco. It is really nice choice but few thing from books would not make any vast changes to your career. so you also may prepare for some other exam like for taken by various institutes or autonomous body, or some good professional courses in Finance. But it is really hard to manage all together. So be careful for what you choice. You also can apply for any course after M.A or M.com. Just try to gain knowledge from everywhere as possible as much... |

As You have not given any option to either of these two, You can better do M.Com, and while joining as a lecturer in any Private College on Part time basis , You can take up the option of doing CA privately or joining in a night College and fullfill your desire of earning while reading . While economics & commerce are traditional subject GBO is relatively new. You should select a field in which you are interested depending up on your knowledge & skill. Mcom is an ideal choice if you are interested in teaching line. After Mcom you can do higher studies i.e Phd & join as a lecturer in a college/university. With MA in economics you can find employment opportunity in college as a lecturer,banks, financial institutions, etc. good luck. |

If you want to go for MA economics then you will get jobs mainly in the teaching sector i.e as professors in colleges. all the best |
