hello dear, if you have done your diploma in pharmacy course when the first and major thing is you have to i mean you must have to complete your registration from your own state. after completion of this stage then you can think what you want to do if you are interested for further study, then you can try for this.for this thing, you can join b pharmacy by lateral entry. one thing you have to remember that it is required minimum 60 % number in your diploma in pharmacy course i mean d. pharma course. after that you can join into direct second year in b pharmacy course. and after completion of b pharmacy there are so many study opportunities are waiting for you. you can choose higher study if you want or like. or you can join any good jobs like- you can join sales and marketing you can join as analytical chemist of quality control in pharmaceutical industry you can do medical transcription jobs You also can do teaching jobs.etc. otherwise if you are interested do job- then you have to prepare for this thing i have to study regularly according to your d pharma course. you can get jobs various government sector, like hospital pharmacist . you can join as a pharmacist in army i'm in indian army etc. are you can join as a pharmacist in various retail pharmacy store. Re: Is it better to do Pharm D or M.Pharmacy after B.Pharmacy? All the 3 courses which you have mentioned are various Pharma courses which will be pursued by candidates at various academic levels. Let me clearly explain regarding these courses. D-Pharmacy is a Diploma course in Pharmacy. The duration of this course is of 2 years. Soon after the completion of this course, you will be awarded a certificate which is mandatory for the people if they want to open a Medical store and for the existing Medical stores also. B-Pharmacy is a Graduation course. The duration of this course is 3-4 years. Let me clearly explain this. If the candidate has taken admission to B-Pharmacy course directly on the basis of entrance exam soon after the completion of 12th class, then he has to pursue this course for a period of 4 years. In contrast to this, if the candidate has gone through Diploma course in Pharmacy i.e. D-Pharmacy soon after the completion of 12th class which is of 2 years, then he will attempt for E-CET exam to get admisson into 2 year of B-Pharmacy course. In this manner, it will take a period of 5 years for the candidate to complete B-Pharmacy course. M-Pharmacy is a Post Graduation course in Pharmacy or Masters Degree in Pharmacy which will be pursued by the candidates who have completed B-Pharmacy. So, its better to join M-Pharmacy soon after the completion of B-Pharmacy rather than going for D-Pharmacy. In order to get admission for M-Pharmacy, one has to crack GPAT Exam (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test). For complete information on this exam, you can visit http://www.gpat.in/ |
