Candidate who wants to apply for any Government Job and Service, must have completed their Degree program from a University recognized by the University Grant Commission [UGC] and if pursued through Distance mode, then it must also be recognized by the Distance Education Council [DEC]. As far as the recognition of the Degree awarded by the Global Open University is concerned it is recognized by the University Grant Commission [UGC] and Distance Education Council [DEC]. Hence, the Degree awarded by the University is valid to apply for any Government Jobs given one must also fulfill the other eligibility criteria.
