I HAVE DONE B.TECH (ECE) IN 2012, AND I HAVE 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE TELECALLER AND 2 YEARS IN TELECOM LIKE (MIS CO-ORDINATOR, RF CO-ORDINATOR, EMF REPORT MAKING) IN VENDOR COMPANY......BUT I WANT TO DO JOB IN OPERATOR . With Landphone business almost at its derailment, for a female The best job would be to get into Radio Planning Mobile or The NOC-s.Network Operation Centre(OMCR Or OMCS).All the other jobs like BSS and Optimisation would require frequent travelling and field supervision..So its best to get into these departments. It would be gr8 if u can Into BSNL as JTO. |

Re: Best job in the telecom field for a female? i thought i would apply for JTO exam BSNL or IES exam conducted by UPSC.... i hear BSNL is not giving out applications this year..? the last day for IES is over... anybody can share thoughts on this.. or suggestions for any good courses or institutions available..? what about CISCO or CCNA? Re: Best job in the telecom field for a female? hello swati , i am glad to say that you can apply for job in TELECOM as from my experience an optical fiber operator is very good job for womans , with good package this is very much required for solving a probleum in communication by that million of customer can speak at the same time at a time...... best wishes. |

Re: Best job in the telecom field for a female? now a days there is no difference in male and female. female also can do job of male. many female working as a BTS engineer. so you should not worry about it. but till female wants job where they don't have to go outside of the office. there are so many job in telecommunication field for girls where they don't have to go outside for job. like they may work in control room. may be in BTS control room or in other control room. they have to inform the particular sector if there is any problem in her supervised BTS. it is a very suitable job for Female. also they may work in charging sector, optical fiber testing job also very much suitable for female. best wishes. |

Re: Best job in the telecom field for a female? ya.. field of optical fibre's sounds interesting... i have also done a course in fields of transmission, GSM, Switching..etc in BSNL... and i have a good knowledge of computer languages too C, C , HTML.... i studied computers in my PUC so.. |

Re: Best job in the telecom field for a female? don't have to worry there are jobs in which they don't require switch engineers, like TCL tata communication limited, womens are in progress and lots of womens are placed there,and they do job there and you are a morden aged girl don't think about all this , this won't help you to full fill your desires ,you have to keep all these aside and go for the things that you want. good luck for your future. and by the way all companiies as per my knowledge only some companies only demands for switch engineers. |
