Re: How to join NIT Rourkela for Dual degree course? The only way to join an NIT is to make an attempt at the AIEEE exam conducted by CBSE. Now that the admission policies have changed you also need to get a good percentage in your board exams as there is a definite weightage of your board marks in the admission process. Now, NIT Rourkela being one of the good NITs there will be a lot of competition, and you need to get a good rank so as to opt for the college and get a good branch. If there are any dual degree courses you can apply for them the same way you would apply for a 4 year B.Tech. course. There are options in some colleges to jump to a dual-degree course after third academic year even after getting an admission in the B.Tech. course. For that you should refer to the NIT institute brochure and find out if that option is available in NIT Rourkela. You can expect to have a good placement for NIT Rourkela as it is one of the premium institutes in India. |

Taking dual degree especially at NIT-R is a benfit, since dual-degree students are allowed to sit for placement twice(with b-techs in 3rd year and m-techs ). Placement status is very good. NITR has also tied up with international university and its strong alumni-connections abroad are providing internships and training at foreign institutes providing international exposure and better work experience. |

How to join NIT Rourkela for Dual degree course? The main question that i have for joining in dual-degree is that, will i get a placement from the college??? Because i will be the 3rd batch taking dual-degree. And no one knows if there is going to be any placement from the institution side. Can you please help me this thing sir??? |
