Re: What is the scope in MSc Biotechnology? M.Sc Biotechnology is very good degree. M.Sc Biotechnology have very much scope. you have higher degree in Biotechnology which is very good. Student which have higher education in any subject have very much demand in the market. jobs for Biotechnology student are- • Research Scientist • Research Associate • Quality Control Officer • Marketing Manager • Bio-Informist • Environmental of Safety Specialist • Lab Technician • Medical Representative • Business Development Manager These are officer level jobs these provide very good salary. after getting higher education your chances of getting job is very high. higher educated person always have demand in the market you also have demand in the market. |

Re: What is the scope in MSc Biotechnology? Biotechnology is not developed upto the mark in India. I have seen many of the candidates who have completed Post Graduation in Biotechnology and still looking for the job opportunities. But in other countries, there are good number of job opportunities for the candidates who have completed Post Graduation in Biotechnology. Generally, the candidates from Biotechnology get jobs in Biotech companies Pharmaceutical companies Hospitals Research Laboratories etc. they can get jobs in Production Department Quality Analysis and Testing Research and Development etc. So, if you want to settle in the field of Biotechnology, I suggest you to go for M.Phil course after completion of M.Sc in Biotechnology. Then you can join in Teaching field as Assistant Professor. you can also do Ph.D course to get into Research side. This would also be a better option. Many candidates who have completed Graduation with Biotechnology are shifting to MBA or any other courses but not for M.Sc in Biotechnology. Because, the job opportunities are less. If you come under this category, I will suggest you to go for MBA course. Soon after the completion of MBA course, you can get job very easily. Wish you all the best. |
