Re: What is the qualification needed for B.Ed course? Welcome Guest, B.Ed(Bachelor in Education) is a post graduation degree to enter into teaching profession. ELIGIBILITY FOR B.ED: --> Candidate have complete Master's degree in any discipline. --> Candidate have to score at least 50% in Master's degree. --> No age restriction. SELECTION PROCESS: For different universities select of candidate is different.But maximum colleges select student on the basis of marks obtained in Master's degree.Some colleges organized examination to select B.Ed candidates. regards, er.animesh6 |

Please note that # B.Ed stands for Bachelor in Education. # B.Ed is primarily meant for noble profession of teaching. # Eligibility criteria for B.Ed * Graduate in any stream. * Must have secured minimum 45% marks in graduation. * Candidates who are in the final year of graduation are also eligible. # B.Ed can be done either by regular mode or by distance mode. # For B.Ed through distance mode, candidates are required to possess minimum two years of teaching. # Names of few universities offering B.Ed through distance mode are: * IGNOU * Annamalai University * Amity University * Sikkim Manipal University # There is no prescribed upper age for B.Ed degree. # After completion of B.Ed, candidates can make their career as: * Teacher/Lecturer/Professor * Principal * Librarian |

B.Ed Course is offered in a regular mode also which is of one year , and also due to its huge demand among girls after graduation this course is also offered via distance mode and duration of program is for two years. Minimum a Graduate from a higher primary school or a high school should complete this course to delight their careers. There are many, many universities either Govt or Private gives the opportunity to do this course. Minimum qualification a Graduate from the recognized University is eligible for the course though to get the b.ed certificate from the renowned universities need's 45% to 50% marks to clear the b.ed course. A B.A/B.Com/B.Sc can complete this course. There is no age restriction to do this b.ed career,after 21 years any Graduate teacher can try for this course. Eligibility - you should have B.A OR B.sc OR B.com degree with minimum 50% in that. - University conduct entrance exam for B.ed admission.you have to score good in that. you will get admission on the base of merit list prepared by university. B.ed Scope You have a lot of scope after completion of B.ed & can make a bright career in any field such as - Teacher - Principle - Librarian - Instructor - Schedule designer you can also apply for government jobs & can make a career in that. B.Ed course is must for teaching in higher primary schools and High schools. Eligibility Criteria : Minimum qualification for B.Ed course is that candidate must have completed Bachelors degree with minimum 50% from any recognised university. As there are numerous universities offering the program, so eligibility criteria may vary as per these university. As per guidelines of NCTE ( National Council for Teacher Education ), candidates who have secured more than 45% percent marks are eligible to to B.Ed course. So, most of the university allows candidate securing more than 45% marks to obtain B.Ed course degree. Candidates having teaching experience of two or more years in any recognized school can pursue Bachelor of Education ( B.Ed ) course through distance education mode. There are some limited seats in top universities, then they give admission on the basis of merit list. List of some good B.Ed Institutes is :

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE B.ed COURSE ARE LISTED AS BELOW-->> * Graduation is the minimum eligibility criteria. * Also there is a minimum age requirement of 21 years. * Even final year students are allowed to appear for the exam provided they are over 21 years. * You need to prepare for the areas like verbal ability, logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude. * You also need to be well prepared in the teaching aptitude area too. For apply B.Ed exam the minimum Education qualification is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University with 50% marks. Final year appearing candidates can also be eligible. Candidate should be a citizen of INDIA. There is no age limit to apply this exam. |

Most preferable graduate for B.Ed are B.Sc, B.A., B.Com etc. If you want to go for teaching line or want to become teacher, then you must go for B.Ed Course. |
