CID stands for Criminal Investigation Department.

The minimum qualification required to become CID officer is bachelor's degree in any stream or discipline from a recognized university.

If you are in final year of graduation then also you can apply for the exam.

The entrance exam for becoming CID officer is Staff Selection Commission Common Graduate Level Exam.

The age limit is 20-27 years.

There are two stages of this exam, Preliminary and Mains followed by interview.

The notification for SSC CGL is not yet released . For more details, you can visit www.ssc.nic.in.
