If you wants to do the B.tech course only for to go abroad then the most preferable Stream will be the computer science as well as Information Technology.

Because these above two branches have a very high demand in every corner of the world which makes a great chance to go abroad.Also the Career in IT is considered one of the most high-paying jobs and is full of opportunities.
There will no impact of recession in these two barnches of engineering particularly when India’s prowers in information technology industry is recognized across the globe.
If you are going for these two stream then there will be more chance to get a reputed and valuable job in USA as well in some of the most develope country around the world.
Numerous IT companies from India employ huge number of computer professionals for the abroad services.
Besides going abroad a Computer Engineers have plenty of options to work in IT companies in departments such as design, development, assembly, manufacture and maintenance, etc.

Getting a good job really depends on your ability and a little bit of luck.
If you are good then you would definitely get the job no matter which stream you are studying. So focus on quality, rest will take of itself.

Having said that there are stream where you get more offers then others. If you have a choice then opt for ECE, CSE ,IT from good colleges as these streams offer more private sector jobs thus enabling you with more opportunities assuming you failed to get the job the first time.

If you are interested in govt sector jobs then you should opt for Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and other core streams. There more jobs available for students who have completed their B.Tech in these stream thus increasing your chance of bagging that job.

But if you think you have some ability or liking for a particular subject then go for it. You would do better in that then opting for something which you don't like that much.

Every branch has scope and wide prospective of future.
Basically,
>> Electrical,
>> Mechanical,
>> Electronics and
>> Civil are the three core fields.
You can get job being from the fields in a computer software company also.

Other than these, CS and IT are also there.
Also, if you are inclined towards towards software and want to be in a corporate world then CS, It have more chances. Also, if you do your engineering from a reputed engineering college like IIT's or NIT's, they CS students are the ones to brag the highest package.

On the other hand rest streams have more chances of public sector but they also have bright chances in private sector.
