For Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribe/PWD- The upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the applicants.

Till October 2018,you will cross the upper age limit to apply for the exam as you have born in July 1995.So you'll become ineligible to apply for the exam with respect to the age criteria on the condition,if you don't belong to reserved categories.

Re: How to calculate the age limit for NIFT?

NIFT stands for the National Institute of Fashion Technology. The entrance exam is conducted for the selection of candidates for different undergraduate and post graduate course in fashion technology.

Eligibility Criteria:

For Bachelor's program in Design, you must have completed your 10+2 from a recognized board or its equivalent.

For Bachelor's program Technology, you must have passed your 10+2 from a recognized board with compulsory subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Age criteria:

Candidates applying for the bachelor's programs offered at NIFT must not be more than 23 years on the 1st October of year of admission.

As you are born in month of July of 1995, your age will be more than 23 years on the 1st October of 2018, so you are not eligible for 2018 NIFT entrance exam.

However there is no upper age limit for the Master's degree, you can apply for master's degree in fashion technology but for master's degree, you must have bachelor's degree from any recognized university.

The upper limit is relaxed by
