Every year the number of test takers or students who are appearing for BITSAT exam is increasing. So this year you should be ready to face the real competition as even the cut off for every branch is increasing by few pointers.

Cut off for BITS Pilani is combined score obtained from Physics, chemistry, mathematics and English. Below are the BITSAT score for admission into 2014 - 2015 classes for different programme. You should make a note that the cut off score varies from year to year.

First of all for sitting in the entrance exam in B.I.T.S.A.T. exam which is conducted for the B.I.T.S. university candidates must get the 70% marks in 12th in Physics, Chemistry and mathematics and after it the candidates are eligible to apply for the entrance exam.

And then after it candidate must qualify to B.I.T.S.A.T. exam to get the admission in this university in any course in B.tech and there is no necessary limit for the marks to get the admission in entrance because that depends on the percentage that has gone at that time but if you score a minimum of 60% in entrance exam then there are very good options for you to get admsiion in this university.

>> Computer engineering

>> Electronics engineering

>> Electronics and communication engineering

>> Biotech engineering

>> Chemical engineering

>> Electrical engineering

Let me first make you aware of examination pattern of Birla Institute of Technology Science Aptitude Test.

1. Part I: Physics: 40 questions

2. Part II: Chemistry: 40 questions.

3. Part III: a) Logical Reasoning: 10 questions

b) English Proficiency: 15 questions.

4. Part IV: Mathematics: 40 questions.

Each correct answer carries 3 marks, so overall 450 marks for 150 questions. It is online test.

From past year trends if a candidate is able to score more than 70% that is around 315 are generally able to clear the cut off set by BITS Pilani and able to get admission.
