Electronics is the largest growing and expanding sector world wide. Thus, a career in it has to be full of opportunities. B.Tech in Electronics and communication is a course in which all the basic as well as complex properties of electronics instruments are taught. The course also contains the basic and general features of electronic elements which are present or generally seen in electronics equipments. The course of B.Tech in Electronics and communication contains a lot of practical implementation of the theoretical knowledge. Thus, the students pursuing this course are trained thoroughly regarding the applications of the course.

To get admission in to the course of B.Tech in Electronics and Communication, one needs to clear the entrance examination conducted or followed by the college. Some general criteria are that one should be 10 + 2 passed with at least Physics Chemistry and Mathematics as the major subject.

Course Outlook:

The course is of 4 years, divided into 8 semesters of 6 months each. Every semester, an examination is held to judge the understanding of the students in those six months.

Job Prospects:

A B.Tech Degree holder in Electronics and communication can avail jobs in plenty of sectors. They can avail jobs in central government companies, or can get jobs in Radios, or television channels. They can also work with telecommunication companies (both government and private). They can also go for software firms apart from the pre-mentioned places.

Best Places to Pursue:

Indian Institute of Technology

National Institute of technology

Vellore institute of Technology

Delhi College of engineering

Birla institute of technology

Jadavpur University

Vellore Institute of Technology
