After passing 12th you have many job option like:-
> Army
> Navy
> Air Force
> Postal Services
> S.S.C-+2 level exam
> Railways
> Central Police Force
> State Police Force

If you want a job on 12th basis you can go for CHSL (Combined higher Secondary Level exam) conducted by SSC (Staff Selection Commission) but i think if you do graduation then you can go for multiple exams like

SSC CGL(Combined Graduate Level)
Bank PO and Clerical
These are common plateforms other things depends on with which subject you complete your graduation.

For this, you must do graduation because most of the government jobs are graduation based. The minimum educational eligibility criteria for most of the government job are graduation with 21-30 years age as maximum eligibility criteria to apply for the job in government segment. You can apply for government job such as for IAS, IPS, IFS, SSC-CGL, SSC-Clerk, Public Sector Banks, Insurance sector, etc.

However, if you want to apply for job directly after 10+2 then, you can apply for the jobs release by SSC for the posts of Clerk, Multitasking, etc., for the various posts in Group C like Village Development Officer (V.D.O), etc. To be more aware about these jobs, you must read employment news regularly.

There are other governmental sectors that release various posts on 12th basis. I wish you good luck for your better career.
