Re: Gap between GATE attempts

GATE ELIGIBILITY :

Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy and those
who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes.

Master's degree holders in any branch of Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer
Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes.

there is no age limit mentioned and hence

there is no limit to take gate exam i.e you can give gate exam as many time as you want
to till you are eligible.

moreover gate score is valid for 2 years that mean if you wont get good marks in second

time then you can take admission on your first attempt marks basis

Re: Gap between GATE attempts

There is no age limit to appear for GATE exam.

And GATE score will be valid for 2 years.

GATE score is calculated in percentile,by using no of attempts done by the candidates, total number of candidates appeared for exam and top score among all the candidate.

By considering all the details, they will be releasing the score.

Suppose you have 50 marks in GATE and another person also got same marks, but he is attempting exam for first, you are attempting for 2nd or 3rd time, you will be getting good rank than him.

So prepare well and get good rank............
