Re: Can I take admission in polytechnic on the basis of 10th marks? hello friend..!! the eligibility criteria to take the admission into polytechnic college is:- 1.you should have 60 % marks. 2.you should have no backlog or reappear in the 10th class. you can take the admission by giving the entrance exam of the recognized university. there are various entrance exams are conducted by the universities. like JET(joint engineering test) is conducted by the Punjab technical university,jalandhar for the admission of diploma in engineering in any polytechnic college. |

Generally 60% aggregate at 10th level is more than enough to apply for this exam. You can also give the exam after giving your class 12 board exam. Re: Can I take admission in polytechnic on the basis of 10th marks? hi dear, In all India,polytechnic admission is done on the base of marks scored in 10th class.To get admission you have to apply for polytechnic admission for your particular university,then you have to choice to select the field in which you have to interest.In the admission procedure ,if you are eligible to get admission for particular branch and college ,then you can get admission according to your choice ,otherwise preffer other choice.
