Hello, I am an engineering student of computer science branch and I'm planning to join CBI (Central Buerau of Investigation) where I want to use my CS & IT skills. I want to give entrance examination after my B.Tech. >> Please let me know about CBI entrance procedure what they have mentioned in their website at http://www.cbi.gov.in/faq.php- "CBI recruits Sub-inspectors through the Staff Selection Commission (SSC)" . Please tell me about SSC or another method. >> And also tell me if there is special way to select and get into their CS & IT department specially because I don't want to enter in another departments. :) I'll be thankful to you. |

Every year, notifications are being published for the recruitment of CBI officers in different departments. you should also apply for CDS EXAM.CONDUCTED BY UPSC. YOU CAN ALSO CHECH AT CBI.NIC.IN You should keep your eyes on Employment news magazine, and other national daily newspapers to be updated with the advertisements for this posts. Apply for the civil service exam and after cracking it,you can join CBI. The Central Bureau Investigation(CBI),the base of administrative branch of India, provides the information relating to corruption in Central Government departments and Central Public Sector Undertakings. This exam is conducted by UPSC Eligibility for appearing CBI exam :- 1) Age :- Your's age must lie between :- (a) 20 to 27 years for Assistant Grade & SIs in CBI (b) 18 to 27 years for inspectors of CE/IT & Div. Acctts/Auditors/UDCs, etc., (c) 20 to 25 years for SIs in CPOs on the first day of the August of the year of Examination. The upper age limit may be relaxed in respect of SC,ST,OBC. 2) Educational Qualification :- You should have a degree of a recognized University or equivalent. To join in CBI you need to write the CGPE EXAM conducted by UPSC...!! and minimum qualification for that is to be Graduate.. So, you are eligible for writing exam... for that you need to have good physical strength also like any armed force.. |
