The written exam consists of questions from the following categories -Reasoning -Quantitative aptitude -Socio-economic and banking awareness -Computer/Marketing knowledge Any way here i am providing you the topics from which several questions are being asked. In reasoning: Number series Coding and decoding Problem figures Seating arrangement Data sufficiency In Quantitative aptitude, we may expect questions from Percentages Profit and loss Time and work Time and distance Boats and streams Pipes and cisterns LCM & HCF Square and cube roots Simplifications In socio-economic and banking awareness/General awareness Banking terminology Economic situations/changes that were taken place before 6 months For General English Comprehensions Synonyms Grammar points including tenses,articles,correction of sentences, usage of right kind of prepositions Jumbling of sentences Thanks |

Eligibility Eligibility Criteria Candidate must be in the age group of 18 to 30 years to be eligible for this exam Candidate must be passed 12th standard with at least 60% aggregate Candidates must possess computer knowledge to be eligible for this exam. Selection Criteria Selection is done on the basis of Written Examination and Personal Interview conducted by the Bank. For written test, eligible candidates have to appear for written test comprising the following: i. Quantitative Aptitude ii. Reasoning iii. Socio-Economic & Banking Awareness iv. Re: Syllabus of Bank of Baroda Clerk Grade Exam? Syllabus of bank of baroda clerk exam:- 1. Test of Reasoning: This test would include questions of both verbal and non-verbal type. The test may include questions on analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision-making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series. 2. Test of English Language: This is a test to see how well you know English. English language ability would be tested through questions on grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension of a passage. 3. Test of Numerical Ability: Questions will be designed to test the ability of arithmetical computation of whole numbers, decimals and fractions and relationship between numbers. The questions would be based on arithmetical concepts and relationship between numbers and not on complicated arithmetical computations. 4. Test of Clerical Aptitude: The questions in Clerical Aptitude will be set to test the candidate's perceptual accuracy and aptitude. This is the ability to notice similarities and differences between the pairs of names and numbers. Questions in Clerical Aptitude will also assess in addition to perceptual accuracy and aptitude, ability to handle office routine work like filing, abbreviating, indexing, etc. 5. Descriptive Papers: It intends to measure your higher order cognitive abilities. Note: candidates have to pass each of the Objective and Descriptive Tests separately. It is a question paper-cum-answer sheet in Hindi and English and the Regional Language and you have to restrict your answers to the space provided on the answer-sheet. |

Clerical aptitude----------50 questions-------50 marks maximum 4. general socio economic & banking awareness---------25 questions------30 marks maximum 5. Computer awareness---------25 questions-------30 marks maximum 6. English language---------50 questions----------40 marks maximum Total no. pf questions will be 250 and total marks will be 300. You will have to pass in each of the objective tests. The exact time you will get to answer all the all the questions is 2 hours 20 minutes i.e 140 minutes. So practice accordingly. |
