Re: How to become an IAS officer if I am a ECE 3-2 Sem student To become an IAS officer, you have to give the UPSC Civil Services Exams This exam is held in three stages-Prelims, Mains and Interview Eligibilty- Graduation Pass in any Stream. Age- Minimum 21 years Maximum -30 years OBC candidates gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations Attempts- 4 for the General Candidates and 7 for the OBC candidates. So, if you meet the above eligibilty, than you can apply for the UPSC exams. Regarding Preparations, if you ahve time than you can join a coaching, otrherwise get the study material of the leading IAS coaching Institute like RAU and study at home. Read one National newspaper and One national Magazine daily |

Re: How to become an IAS officer if I am a ECE 3-2 Sem student You can join IAS after engineering. For this, you need to qualify CSAT and mains exam. In CSAT there will be questions related to reasoning, numerical ability, Indian constitution and Indian Polity. In mains exams you can select any of the optional subjects listed under UPSC portal. IAS exam can be attempted 4 times before the age of 30. |
