A guide to Common Proficiency Test (CA CPT) Chartered Accountants Entrance Exam conduted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is open only to those students who are already registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for the said course and fulfill the requisite eligibility conditions. The Common Proficiency Test will be held on next Common Proficiency Test (paper-pencil mode) of the Institute will be held on 19th December, 2010 in 135 cities in India and 5 cities abroad The sale of information brochure cum application forms for the aforementioned test was started : 06th October, 2010 The last date for receipt of forms was: 27th October, 2010 The candidates can also fill in the application form online at http://icaiexam.icai.org from 06th October, 2010 to 27th October, 2010 |

You can fill up the CPT 2011 examination application form online at http://icaiexam.icai.org You can also obtain the form from the following address: Additional Secretary (Examinations), The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, ICAI Bhawan, Indraprastha Marg, New Delhi – 110 002. The cost of form is Rs. 600/- (Rs.500/- towards examination fee and Rs. 100/- towards cost of CA CPT Exam 2011 application form and CPT June 2011 Information brochure). The last date of application submission is on or before 1st April, 2011. "icai.org " ---Cost of examination application Form For an examination center within India - Rs. 100. For overseas examination center - $10. --Examination Fee (including application form) For an examination center within India - Rs. 600. For Kathmandu centre - Rs.950 For other overseas examination centers - $160. --late fine is not applicable. best of luck |

Education eligibility:-- minimum 12 th pass or even graduates are too allowed.. CPT exam conducts twice a year..in the month of 1st JUNE 1st OCTOBER and notification come before 2 months ..(There are rarely chances of change in dates.) THE exam pattern consists of 4 hours of two papers and each of 2 hours.. Syllabus session I Section A consists of Fundamental of Accounting of 60 marks Section B consists of Mercentalie Law of 40 marks. session II Section A consists of General Economics of 50 marks Section B consists of Quantitative of 50 marks. |
