Re: What can I do after passing B.Com? You have plenty of good choices to make after completing Bachelor of Commerce course. You can do Chartered Accountancy, M.Com, MCA, MBA etc. In my opinion Master of Business Administration is the best course after completing graduation. Although you can also apply for the Master of Computer Applications but the software market is down these days therefore MBA will be better option. Master of Business Administration is 2 years post graduation course. You can apply after completing graduation. The marks criteria varies with entrance exam. As you perhaps know that there are several entrance exams for the Master of Business Administration. CAT JMET SNAP TANCET MAT GMAT XAT Usually people go with the first option which is Common Admission Test. You can apply for the Common Admission Test after completing graduation with 50 percent marks. Although SC/ST need 45 percent marks to apply for the CAT. There is no relaxation for the OBC candidates. The Common Admission Test is conducted for the Indian Institutes of Management (IIM). Although various other universities also accept the CAT Score. Some examples are: Indian Institutes of Technology Indian Institute of Science National Institutes of Technology The IIMs use CAT score to offer admission. However candidates outside India are required to appear for GMAT entrance exam. The Common Admission Test is conducted in October/November. If you are falling short of percentage criteria then consider applying for the Management Aptitude Test. It is conducted 4 times in a year. |

They can be of two types: 1.CA(I am doing),CS,CWA or banking. 2.Hotel management,Finance,Law,Civil services etc. 3.Tax advisor, Maketing, Insurance etc. I could have mentioned more but these are considered as main option. For admission in these course you have to pass entrance test like ICET ,CAT , CPT. PROCEDURE FOR CA I am pursuing CA course so i can tell you about it. You can join CA in two ways. 1.Clear 12th and apply for CPT entrance exams. If you secure 50% then you get admission in CA. 2.Do some other higher course like B.com and get admission directly. After joining you will give your IPCC exam after 9 months. If you clear both group then you will have to join articleship under the supervision of a CA for 3 years. Thereafter you will be entitled for your final exams. In my opinion this is the best choice if your brother is interested in commerce. |

If you continues your study then your qualification will increase and then you can get better job.
