$$ Your Aspiration is very High so, your study level is also have to be leveled with it. 9th Std. is not sufficient to become an IPS Officer.....

$$ First of all you have to clear out your 10+2 study then you have to take admission in the Graduation course of your Interest. you can choice any Graduation course in which you are interested......

$$ Once you complete your 3 years Graduation course then you definitely become eligible for this examination.....

$$ IPS stands for the Indian Police Service this exam is conducted by Union Public Service commission every year for the candidate like you who are aspiring to become an IPS Officer......

$$ This exam is conducted under the Civil Service Examination. the Exam Pattern for the Civil Service Exam is Listed below....

Exam Pattern:-





Age Criteria:-


## Minimum age should be at least 21 years..

## Maximum age should not exist 30 years..

## Relaxation for OBC max. 3 years on upper age (33 years)...

## For Sc/ST it is up to 5 years on upper age (35 years)...

A candidate must an Indian...

Attempt Limit:-


## Max. Attempt for General candidate - 4 times.

Sorry , you are not eligible for IPS exam after completing 9th std.....

A candidate must have completed their graduation Degree in any Discipline recognized universities are eligible for this exam....

Final year students are also applicable....

Citizenship of India...

Age Limit:

General category student:- 21-30 years.

OBC relaxation in upper age +3 years.

SC/ST relaxation in upper age +5 years.

No. Attempt:

General - max. 4

OBC - max. 7.

SC/ST - No limit.

student,

Education Qualification:
To be eligible for becoming an IPS officer the candidate must posses a degree from an Indian University or an equivalent qualification. Those in the final year degree course can also appear in the Preliminary Examination taken every year by UPSC.

Age:
The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years on 1st august of the year of examination and must not have attained 30 years of age on that date.
The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/St candidates.
The upper age limit is also relaxed in favor of Defense Services Personnel.

To become IPS officer you need to complete your studies i.e. after passing 9th complete 10th,11th & 12th,then complete Graduation from a recognized university. Minimum qualification required to appear for IPS exams is Graduation from a recognized university.

IPS exams are conducted by UPSC every year.
CIVIL SERVICES exams are conducted by UPSC every year.


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree of a recognized university.

Age limit: 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs.

Bachelor’s degree is the required qualification for IPS. Clearing civil services exam is the gateway to join IPS. There will be prelims, mains, and physical efficiency test for selection. You can start exam preparations from 12th class onwards. Reference books and model question papers of previous years can be used for study.
