Re: What can be done after completing BA in Geography to have a better future? How about tourism? I think it's very interesting besides you there are a lot of topics you can choose where you want to grow. And of course possibility to travel , to see the whole world...what can be better? But still it's your decision and only you can decide what do to in the future. |

Re: What can be done after completing BA in Geography to have a better future? It is very good the you are now in 1st year and aware about the future strategy. You have the lots of better options that you can go for the master in the same in Geography and then have to qualify the national eligibility test or the Teacher eligibility test and some tests are also conducted on the state wise so if you qualify that will be very good. >> After it you can apply for the assistant professor jobs in any college or in a higher secondary school in English medium as a teacher in english medium students can get the much better salary than a hindi medium but the jobs in college after the NET are best. |

Usually people think that there is no scope after this course but it is not like tat. you can get into various government as well as in the private departments. Some of the opportunities that you have are- >> You can be a school teacher. Private schools take teachers with gradation and since you have specialized in geography, so it would easy for you to get the job. >> you can go for further studies. In this option you prefer, try to go for a foreign university. Not only they have better quality of educative syllabus but also with foreign post graduation degree, your job prospects will also increase. >> Also, you can go for military jobs. Many army jobs require for only graduation. >> Similar is the criteria for the Bank PO posts. Only graduation is the criteria for their examination >> You can apply for the post of geologists and other posts in government departments like National Disaster Management of India. |

What can be done after completing BA in Geography to have a better future? Sir/Mam, I am a student of 1st year in geography hons. I am worried about my future bcz. i con'nt know what I do after BA in geography hons. Can someone please answer me on this and let me know what should be done next? Awaiting for the reply.
