Re: Age-limit for NDA? During the time of admission, he should be 17 1/2 years and must not be over 23 years of age. There will be a compulsory paper of Mathematics in the NDA Exam, conducted by Union Public Service Commission. You can always opt for the NDA entrance test provided you have studied maths in class 10. |

NDA stands for National Defence Academy.Every year UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) is going to conduct NDA Exam twice a year to recruit the candidates into the following defence services Army wing Navy wing Air Force wing Many of the candidates are having interest to join Defence services. But all the candidates can not achieve this. One should have to prepare well for the Entrance Exam and get through it. Then only it is possible for the candidates to get the job. The selection procedure will include NDA Exam Interview Medical Test The academic qualification with which a candidate can join NDA is by completion of 12th class. Coming to age, Candidates should be having an age between 16 1/2 years to 19 years to apply for this exam. No relaxation will be provided in upper age limit for the candidates of any category unlike other bank exams. As per your date of birth, you have already completed the age of 20 years. In such case you are not eligible to appear for NDA Exam. I don't know whether you have taken this exam earlier or not. But with the age which you are having now, you are not at all eligible to apply for NDA Exam. If you have completed Graduation, then better try for CDS (Combined Defence Services Exam). By cracking this exam, one can join Indian Naval wing Indian Air Force wing Officers Training Academy etc. To get any government job, the competition is very high. Strong preparation should be required for the candidates to get the job. So, first know the syllabus and have the study material to complete the syllabus and try to remember it for a long time. Showcase the same in the written exam to get qualified. Wish you all the best. |

No percentage required when applying. Age-16.5 to 19 years When course is due to commence. NDA conducted twice for entry in defence wings. UPSC-Union Public Service Commission conducts NDA,written exam. SSB(Service Selection Board) interview is conducted by Defence wings. Physical test conducted by defence. NDA exam scheme 1)General English 2)Elementary Mathematics 3)General Knowledge NDA notifications released in UPSC wwebsite www.upsc.gov.in Previous year question papers available in www.upsc.gov.in NDA training is for three years. Cadre spent 1 year training in AFA,NA,IMA. |

Re: Age-limit for NDA?  NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY [NDA] This examination is conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION [UPSC] every year for two times. Through this examination one can apply in all the combatant force of the Indian army, i.e., NAVAL FORCE AIR FORCE WING MILITARY BRANCH.. For apply in this examination, the minimum educational qualification needed a 12th degree from a recognized college.. For apply in naval & air force , you must have subjects Physics & Maths in 12th with at least 60%. The age limit exist for appear in this exam, is 16.5-19 years, there is not any kind of age relaxations criteria is applicable for any reserved category . Exam pattern-

Dear Friend, Eligibility criteria for going NDA:- 1.> You have to pass 10+2 with physics , chemistry , maths with a minimum of 55 %. 2.> Age limitation is between 16.5 - 19 years for all candidates. 3.>Married candidates are not allowed. 4.>Only Male candidate are allowed. 5.> Minimum height should be 157 cm . 6.> Eyesight should be 6/6 with no color blindness. Eligibility for Indian Army : 1:You should pass 12(10+2)th or its equivalent from State Board / Universities. you can also apply as appearing for 12th examination. 2:Marital Status:Unmarried 3:Sex :Male. 4:Age Limit : Between 16.5 and 19. 5:Nationality: You have to be A citizen of India, or subject of Bhutan, or subject of Nepal, or Tibetan refugee . Application Forms are published in any leading newspapers during March or April every year and entrance examination to be held by the UPSC six months later from the application form is published. The UPSC (NDA) exam is conducted twice a year (April and October)in all major cities throughout India. Each year course start twice January and July. |

Dear pal, unmarried male candidates of age 16 1/2 to 19 years are eligible”. you need to have completed XII Class / Equivalent passed certificate conducted by State Board / Universities. if interested you can apply to the Secretary, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur, House, New Delhi-110011, on the application form published in newspapers. |

Candidate should not be married until they complete their full training. A candidate who marries subsequent to the date of his application, though successful will not be selected for training.so, i am sorry 2 say but you are not eligible for NDA.But you shud not get disheartened and shud apply for IMA or OTA in which unmarried male candidates lying between 16n a half to ninteen and a half yearz are eligible if someone want to enter after 10+2 which is called techincal entry scheme under which candidates getting above 70% marks in PCM are eligible .. To apply for the NDA examination a candidate age should be between 16.5 to 19 years at the time of training. Since your age now is 19 years and at the time of training it is obvious that your is more then 19 years. So thats why you are not eligible to apply for the NDA examination. If you have really any interest in defence then do your graduation and apply for CDSE exam. Through CDSE exam also you can apply for the Indian Army, Navy and Air force as an officer. thanks |

Minimum educational qualification required for this exam is to be 10+2 passout with any of the stream. Upcoming NDA 1 examination is going to conduct on 17th april 2011. You can apply for NDA 2 examination for which notification is going to publish in the month of May or June. |
