It is good that you have completed your bachelor degree course and now interested in the Indian Army.If you really want to serve the country and country people, than It is the good option to go for the INDIAN ARMY. Dear aspirant as you are graduate , so you have to apply for an entrance examination known as CDS exam.This exam is conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year. CDS is an entrance for joining in Indian Defense Services, different Academy's like
Eligibility Criteria for this examination ==>> Education:- -:: Indian Military Academy / Officers Training Academy :: - you must have completed your Degree in any stream, from a recognized university/college. -:: Indian Navy Academy :: - you must have completed your Bachelor Degree in any Engineering or Degree with Physics and Mathematics as main subjects from a recognized university/college. -:: Indian Air Force Academy :: - you must have completed your Bachelor Degree in Engineering stream or B.Sc with Physics or Mathematics, from a recognized university/college. Age Limitations:-- => For Indian Military Academy your age must be in limits between 19 - 24 years. => For Indian Navy Academy your age must be in limits between 19 - 23 years. => For Indian Air Force Academy your age must be in limits between 19 - 22 years. => For Officers Training Academy your age must be in limits between 19 - 25 years. Minimum Height Required For OTA:: --------------------------------------- ->The Male Candidate should have a minimum height 157.5cms ,weight should be correlated to height. ->The Female Candidate should have a minimum height 152cms,weight should be correlated to height. IMA stands Indian Military Academy. Minimum Height Required For IMA:: -------------------------------------- ->The Male Candiadte should have a minimum height 157.5cms,weight should be correlated to height. AFA stands Air Force Academy. Minimum Height required for AFA:: -------------------------------------- ->The Male candiadte should have a minimum height 162.5cms,weight should be correlated to height. So dear aspirant if your age lies between 19 to 24 years, and your height must be above than 157.5 cms so definitely you can apply for this exam. !! Good Luck !! Regards, JSD |
