Re: Can a commerce student join Indian Army? I have not taken math because i am very week math but i want to join indian army because i am physically fit and its my dream to join the army force and do some thing for the country |

Dear,,,,, You can appear in the NDA [NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY] exam,through which one can apply for all branches of the Indian army,.i.e. NAVAL FORCE, AIR FORCE WING MILITARY BRANCH You can not apply for the naval & air force wing, as you have not the subjects Physics & MATHS. But you can apply for the military branch of the Indian army. The minimum educational qualification for appear in this exam is 12th degree from a recognized board. The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years,. there is not any kind of age relaxations are applicable for any reserved category. Also, you must have INDIAN nationality with marital status unmarried. |

Age 19 to 24 yrs Likely SSB Date Sep / Oct and Mar / Apr Short Service Commission Non Technical Men Qualification Graduation from Recognised University. Age 19 to 25 yrs Likely SSB Date Oct / Nov and July / Aug For regular service training will be Indian Military Academy , Dehradun.. For short service Officer’s Training Academy, Chennai... Short service is for 5 years and after completion of 5 years either you can resign or opt for an extension for five years or a permanent commission. best of luck |

Yeah you could write NDA exam to get into Indian Army.The eligibility needed are: Eligibility: The candidates must have a age limit of 16 1/2 - 19 years of age. For joining Indian Army the candidate must have completed +2 with 10th,12th pattern conducted by State board education. The candidates must be physically fit while appearing for the exam. Re: Can a commerce student join Indian Army? Hi friend, To join in INDIAN ARMY you must clear one of two exams named NDA and CDS. To write NDA exam you must pass your 12th std with any stream. To write CDS you must have finished your degree which means you must be a graduate to write CDS exam. You can become only a general soldier after clearing NDA exam but you can enter inside as an officer if you clear CDS exam. |

Re: Can a commerce student join Indian Army? Yes friend, To join in INDIAN ARMY your age limit must be between 19yrs and 25yrs. When education is considered you can enter into the army with 12std pass with any subject as your stream. You can enter into the army as an officer and not a general soldier with a degree from a recognized university. |
