If you have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university then you are eligible for IAS exam. IAS exam doesn't require any percentage marks in graduation degree. Your age should be in between 21 years to 30 years for general candidates. Age relaxation is given below - 5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates 3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates 10 years relaxation for PHC candidates 5 years relaxation for Ex-serviceman Number of Attempts:- For open category:- 4 attempts For OBC category:- 7 attempts For ST/SC category:- No Limit |

Re: What to study after 12th to get into IAS? Along with your graduation you can start preparations of IAS. Start regular newspaper reading. Watch television news channels. Collect ncert books from 6 to 12 class and start preparing Also prepare hard for aptitude test through any good book like r.s agarwal. All the best Thanks |

IAS(Indian Administration Services) is conducted by UPSC.now you are in B.com(1st Year).So , you should complete your graduation in B.com & then you will become eligible to apply for IAS. IAS Eligibility Qualification - You must have graduation in any discipline from recognized university. What to study after 12th to get into IAS? I have completed my 12th commerce by 79℅ But now i want what to study except B.Com because i am in B.com 1st year and i dont want to waste my 3 years so what can i do with B.Com for be Ias |
