Re: Study schedule for next attempt in December?

There are basically four subjects from which questions are asked in CPT exam:

1. Mercantile law.

2. Fundamentals of accounting.

3. Economics.

4. Quantitative aptitude.

Set a routine for at least two hours for each subject. Questions are generally objective so you need to work and practice as much as possible without hesitation.

Understand the concept instead of mugging up aptitude problems. Do proper revision of questions, there are still five months left for the exam.

The best time table for preparation of CPT course is ...First of all you decide which subject is your strong & which is weak one,...Then give much effort on weak part & give less amount of time to the strongest part.

There are four paper in CPT i.e Accounting , Law , Mathematics , Economics.
Always follow Institute material...

Always try to give 6 hours daily home study then only you can crack CPT exam , Except tuition hours .

Do not get dishearted with the failure in Common Proficiency test. Failures are the pillars of success. But try to learn what mistakes you did due to which you could not clear the CPT exam in June.

Common Proficiency test consists of objective questions from four main subjects:

1. Fundamentals of Accounting.

2. Economics.

3. Mercantile law.

4. Quantitative Aptitude.

If you are from commerce stream then you will not have so many problems in studying accounting, mercantile law and economics but if you are from some other streams, you need to work hard for these subjects.

Make a time table for all the four subjects mentioned above and do not get deviated from the time table. Assign more time to subjects in which you are weak. Give at least two hours each to different subjects mentioned above. Practice objective questions as much as possible.

To pass the test, a candidate must score 30% in each of the subject mentioned above and overall aggregate of 50%. Work hard with determination.
