Re: Can I appear in JEE Advanced of 2016?

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to give the JEE Advanced exams as there are only 2 attempts that can be made for this and both of them have to be in consecutive years that too within 2 years of giving your first attempt for the 12th standard board exams.
However you can still give the JEE Mains exam but if you want a seat in IIT or NIT then I would suggest that you must try for that in post graduation.

Re: Can I appear in JEE Advanced of 2016?

No dear you don't have an eligibility to apply for JEE 2016. Since it allows only the candidates who have completed 12th in the restricted year. That is Only Two attempts will be allowed for every candidate.

So based on this limitation only the candidates who have completed the 12th in 2015 and Final year candidates of 12th can also eligible for " JEE 2016" .

Age should be below 25 years and there is a Age relaxation for the reserved candidates about 5 years. This is all about the Eligibility criteria of JEE 2016.

Re: Can I appear in JEE Advanced of 2016?

There are only two attempts of Joint Entrance Examination Advanced stage allowed for candidates of any category. The first stage for the JEE Advanced is counted in the year you appear for the 10+2 board examinations.

As per rules and regulations, a candidate get chance one in the year he/she appears for the 10+2 exams and next attempt in the coming year. For example if you appeared for the 10+2 exams in 2014 then you can appear for the JEE Advanced in 2014 and 2015 only. However you have one more attempt left for JEE Mains which is the first stage of this exam.

So, if you perform well in the mains exam, you can get admission in National Institute of Technology.

Re: Can I appear in JEE Advanced of 2016?

* yes ! of course it is possible .
-> Everyone has 3 chances to appear in JEE - Mains and JEE - advanced .
-> You are qualified to participate but you should be well prepared .
-> JEE - mains -90 questions (360 marks ) depending on the caste the qualifying marks will be there . one who qualified in jee- mains has the right to appear in Jee- advanced .
-> Jee - mains - qualified and Jee- advanced fail means one can get seat in NIT's.
-> Qualified in both means they can get seat in both in NIT's and IIT's.

Re: Can I appear in JEE Advanced of 2016?

Sorry, you are not eligible to appear for the JEE Advance examination as according to the present eligibility criteria. The JEE examination is conduced by the CBSE every year.

The examination is conducted in the two stages and the candidates after qualifying the stage I ( Mains ) are eligible to appear for the Advance examination. But as there are maximum of three attempts to appear for the JEE Mains and two for the JEE Advance.
First as the year of appearing in the board examination and next two consecutive year as the second and the third attempt.

So, you are not eligible to appear for the Advance but if you are interested in pursuing the course from the government colleges you can appear for the Mains as on the basis of the Mains score candidates are offered admission in the government institutions.

Re: Can I appear in JEE Advanced of 2016?

N0,you cannot, there are only two attempts available for the students to apply for the jee advance and that will be the 2 consecutive years.
For applying for Jee advance, the candidate must be in top 15,0000 in all categories in jee main.
The student who are appeared in 12th class in 2015-2016 can apply for the jee advance.
The Student who passed his/her 12th class in 2014 is not elligible, however whose result is declared in june can also apply for the jee advance.

Re: Can I appear in JEE Advanced of 2016?

No, you are not eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2016 examination if you have completed your 12th standard in 2014. The maximum number of attempts allowed to appear in JEE Advanced examination is two times that too in two consecutive years after completion of your 12th standard. Since, you have not utilised your two chances of appearing in JEE Advanced 2014 & 2015 examination, you are not eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2016 examination but, you are eligible to appear in JEE Main examination.

Re: Can I appear in JEE Advanced of 2016?

The candidates who appeared for the first time in their class 12 in 2014 or earlier are not eligible, but the candidates whose board results for the academic year 2013-14 were declared after June 2014 can appear for JEE Advanced 2016.

You should have appeared for class 12 examination for the 1st time in all subjects in either 2015 or 2016 to apply JEE Advanced 2016 exam.
