Make a list of topics in which you are good and poor. You have to devote additional time on topics in which you are poor. * Do not leave any topic of syllabus. You should all the topics of syllabus. * Question paper of GATE includes both objective type questions as well as numericals. Candidate should also make special study and preparation for numericals. This is one section where you can score very high with proper preparation and strategy. * Candidate should have well-planned timetable and this timetable should be divided in such a way that all the different subjects should get sufficient time. Set a time schedule and divide it in sessions for each topic of the syllabus. * Take more and more mock test. As it build and enhance your examination skills. It helps in assessing your preparation level and also let you know how you can improve your preparation. * Make special study of BCA curriculum material in order to perform well in Computer Science and Information Technology. * Revision is most important with respect to examination preparation. Revision helps in evaluation of candidate's standard after each revision. * Most of students indulge in studying bundle of books containing many books of different authors. It is not a good strategy. Candidate should refer only few reputed books of well-known authors in this regard. * Candidate should have good conceptual clarity and good elementary knowedge in subjects studied. * It is advisable to study in short intervals rather than long intervals. The reason behind that studying in short intervals helps in better memorisation of syllabus as well as in better understanding of the syllabus |

GATE stands for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering and a most important examination for the candidates who want to pursue the higher degree course after the B.tech. The examination is conducted by the IIT every year for those candidates who are interested in pursuing theM.tech from the recognised government institutions. As you are in the B.E 2nd year it is the best time to start the preparation with the proper strategy to qualify in the examination. The examination paper contains from all the 8 semester and even there is the question of quantitative aptitude so you need to practice on it other than giving time for the course study and keep on revising it. As it is tough to do all these in the last semester or before appearing in the examination. |

It is good to have classroom coaching if you have time at your hand .But if you don't have any time for that, then you should check for some online help. Especially if you want to qualify CS/IT gate exam then you can get the help easily. There is one good help specifically which is "eclassesbyravindra.com" that can really make you higly competent with all the other students in India. However if you want to qualify the gate in some other stream then you can buy the study material from some good institute like madeeasy. In case you want to join the class room coaching then it is best to join ACE Academy Hyderabad or Made Easy Delhi. they have got good reputation . i hope this will help you to carve out your way . Re: How to prepare and crack GATE 2016? GATE is the short form of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. Indian Institute of Technology conducts this exam every year for M.Tech. You are now in second year of engineering in 2015 then how you can complete degree in 2016. Bachelor of engineering is of four years duration. Only those candidates who have done bachelor's degree in engineering or in final year can apply for the GATE exam. Anyway you must start your preparation for the GATE exam from the second year onwards so that you can complete the syllabus within time. You should work on your technical subjects and its concepts. Solve objective and numerical based questions which are conceptual so that you can perform better in GATE exam. You can also join coaching institute for better preparation if you are not able to do self preparation. Join the test series at the end to judge your performance. Do regular revision of concepts. |
