Re: What are various courses in engineering? There are lots of courses which come under engineering. There are some courses in engineering which are called the core branches or engineering. Most of the other branches are specializations of these core branches. The major core branches of engineering are electrical, mechanical and civil. The latest branches which deal with information technology are Electronics, IT, CS etc. Then there are branches like Bio- Technology, Applied electronics, agricultural, chemical etc. The information of various colleges in Maharashtra giving these courses can be obtained from the official website. |

If you have interest in physics and want to deal with chips,opams etc then go for ECE or EEE. If you have interest in computer and want to know about software's then go for CSE or IT. |
