Re: Differences between bank PO job and job clerk job? dear friend, Bank PO and Bank Clerk both are different -2 posts : In BANK PO eligibility: 1. you should be passed the bachelor degree with atleast 60% marks from any recognized university. 2. age must be between the 21 to 30 years. age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC. 3. Indian citizen BANK Clerk post Eligibility : 1. you should be passed the 10th or 12th with atleast 55% marks from any recognized institute. 2. age must be between the 18 to 28 years. age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC. 3. Indian citizen. selection process for PO: 1. written test 2. Interview 3. Group discussion Selection process for Clerk: 1. written test 2. Interview Posts under the PO : Manager Assistant manager operational manager etc Posts under the Clerk : Cashier Accountant sales man etc Salary of bank PO post : approx Rs 20,000 Salary for Bank clerk post : Approx Rs 12,000 best of luck ! |

Dear Aspirant, Differece between them is quite simple. The Clerk is a less grade when compared with the P.O grade. The P.O officer is having higher value than the clerk.A single bank branch can have many clerks but only few p.o officers. And coming to the service of clerk and p.o .They are not same.They have their own priority of work.Both are different. Clerk has more work when compared with the p.o in reality.But they cannot be compared. Salary is also high for the P.O officer when compared with the Clerk officer. Both have the equal future opportunities in terms of promotion or hike in the salary. These both are the famous jobs in the banks.So dont worry which ever job you get.Just go with it. Difference between Bank Po & Clerk job : Bank Po : It is entry point in officer scale in banks & chances of growth are very good from here They are following kinds : Information Technology officer Scale I Agriculture Field Officer Scale I Law Officer Scale I IT Officer Scale II Min qualification complete a degree with 55% from a recognized University age limit between 20 to 30 years Bank Clerk : It is a lower then Bank Po Min qualification , complete 12th stands with 60% aggregate or any degree from a recognized University
