JKCET stands for Jammu and Kashmir common entrance test.

JKCET is conducted by Jammu & Kashmir board of professional entrance examinations every year for admission to under graduate courses in Jammu and Kashmir state.

The last date for submission of online application for JKCET is on 11-03-2015.

# JKCET stands for Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Examination.

# JKCET is conducted by Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE) every year for the domiciled of State Jammu and Kashmir only.

# The main purpose of conducting the JKCET is to make admission for undergraduate course in medical, engineering and other professional courses such as :

* MBBS
* BDS
* BAMS
* BPT
* BUMS
* B.E.
* B. Tech
* B. Sc. (Forestry)
* B. Sc. (Agriculture)
* B.V.Sc

# The general time scheduled of JKCET is as follows:

* Date of Notification/Advertisement: May of every year
* Issuance of admit card: July of every year
* Entrance Examination: July/August of every year
* Declaration of result: One or two weeks after examination

# The general prescribed syllabus for the medical courses:

* Physics (75 questions carrying 75 marks)
* Chemistry (75 questions carrying 75 marks)
* Biology (75 questions carrying 75 marks)

# The prescribed syllabus for the engineering courses:

* Physics (75 questions carrying 75 marks)
* Chemistry (75 questions carrying 75 marks)
* Mathematics (75 questions carrying 75 marks)

# Other details regarding JKCET are:

* Each paper is of 90 minutes duration.
* There is no any negative marking.
* The standard of examination is only 10+2 level.
* The JKCET is only for permanent residents of State Jammu and Kashmir.

# The eligibility criteria for JKCET:

* Must be above the age of 17 years as on the concerned year.
* There is no any fixed upper age for JKCET.
* For medical courses, B.Sc (Forestry), B.Sc (Agriculture), one must be 10+2 in subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
* For engineering courses, one must be 10+2 in subjects Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English.
* Must also have taken minimum 50 marks by General category candidate.
* Must also have taken minimum 40 marks by reserved category candidate.

JKCET 2016 Exam notifications are not out yet.

However, as expected the last date to apply for JKCET 2016 will be near about 11 March, 2016.

Because, last year the last date to apply for JKCET 2015 was 11 March.

Important Dates of JKCET 2015 were:

Online Application started on 17 February, 2015
Last Date to apply: 11 March, 2015
Commencement of Exam: 30 & 31 May
Declaration of JKCET Result: 20 June

** JKCET is conducted every year by the Board of Professional Entrance examinations in Jammu & Kashmir State for admission to various professional courses in Jammu & Kashmir.

** As you are looking for the JKCET Application form but admissions are already over for this session so no application form is available.

** Here I am giving you tentative idea for the application form as given.

IMPORTANT DATES

** Apply online on BOPEE from 08th to 22nd January, 2016.

** Last date of Filling online Application: Last week of May 2016

** Forms will be also available offline in May 2016.

** Month of (JKCET) Entrance Test - First week of July 2016.
