Important date of SLET 2016 exam -> Opening Date for Online Registration: 15 OCTOBER 2016 -> Last Date for Online Registration: 31 OCTOBER 2016 -> Date of SLET examination: 16 DECEMBER 2016 Exam Centre: Bhopal, Gwalior, Indore, Jabalpur, and Sagar -> For SLET examination you have passed their post graduate or equivalent degree from a recognised University and have obtained 55% marks. APPLICATION FORM-- You have to apply online through a link available on the Bharathiar University website on or before the last date of submission of online application form. |

Re: Important dates and application details of SLET 2016 exam? # NET stands for National Eligibility Test, SLET stands for State Level Eligibility and SET stands for State Eligibility Test # NET is the mandatory condition and gateway in order to get the lectureship or getting any research fellowship. # On the other hand, SET or SLET is like NET but it is only at the State level. # In order to overcome the huge demands of qualified scholars, UGC has passed the regulation which enable the State governments and Union Territories to conduct their own SET or SLET at the State level just like NET. # The main difference between NET and SLET is that the NET makes the candidate eligible to teach at national level i.e. anywhere in the country. While SLET makes the candidate anywhere in the State level. # However, there is no any prescribed age limit. # Important dates regarding NET: * Last date for online submission of application form: 30.09.2015 * Last date for online remitting the examination fee: 03.10.2015 |
