Re: Can I get admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya in 12th standard? First of all you remember that KV schools are schools governed by central government And it is affiliated with CBSE,New Delhi. And CBSE allows only admissions in Class 9th for 10th and in class 11th for class 12th.So there is no doubt that the KV will not accept your admission request.Now you have only one option in your hand either let things happen as it is going currently or again get admission in class 11th in KV. I hope you you will understand what I meant to say. |

Re: Can I get admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya in 12th standard? No, there is no such procedure or notification about the KV to get the admission of the candidates in the Std 12th directly. As the admission in the KV is take in class 9th or 11th there is no admission in the 10th or 12th after pursuing the last year from the different schools. Yes there is only transfer of schools from one to another for the students who are staying the 11th from the KV. Sp you need to appear in the board examination from the same school if do not want to make a drop. |

It is not possible for anyone that you can do 11th from some other private school and the 10+2 from the Kendriya Vidalaya. These institutes are the central schools and well known for academics along with rules and regulations. You must appear for the board exams from that private school only. For KV, you will have to take admission in 11th standard first on the basis of marks scored in 10th board examination. |

As the admission in the KV is taken only in the 11th class on the basis of the score in the 10th board examination.. There is special reservation of seats for the wards of the government employee. The admission to Kendriya Vidyalaya is done in standard 11th only for the 10+2 board examination from the Central Board of Secondary Education. This is not possible that you will do 11th from a private school and 10+2 from Kendriya Vidyalaya. Admission in different streams like science, commerce etc is given in standard 11th in Kendriya Vidyalaya on the basis of percentage of marks scored in 10th standard. Based upon percentage of marks and number of candidates, candidates are shortlisted for admission process. |

Generally they allow there own students in 12th also. But if your marks are good then you can definitely take a chance to get admission in 12th. |
